Idaho State Office

Boise office photo With a population of almost 200,000 people, Boise is not only the largest city in Idaho but also the state's economic and cultural headquarters as well. The city's location is ideal for mountain biking, snow skiing, boating, and fishing. Many high-tech companies operate in Boise, including Micron, Hewlett-Packard, and Microsoft. My main office for the state is located in Boise, but there are six regional offices located throughout the state. If Boise is too far from where you are, please visit the Regional Map to locate the office closest to you.

Boise is home to Boise State University, Idaho's largest university. Boise has served as the state capital since December 1864. Numerous awards have been bestowed upon Boise including "Best Place for Business and Careers" in Forbes Magazine and "No. 13 Best Overall City" in National Policy Research Council's Gold Guide.

The Idaho State Office, located in Boise, serves the following counties: Ada, Adams, Boise, Elmore and Valley.

It covers the following cities: Boise, Cascade, Council, Crouch, Donnelly, Eagle, Garden City, Glenns Ferry, Horseshoe Bend, Idaho City, Kuna, McCall, Meridian, Mountain Home, New Meadows, Placerville and Star.
