CRAPO TO PRESENT FLAG AT REQUEST OF CDA STUDENTS, ANNOUNCE CLEARWATER COLLABORATIVE EFFORT

Washington, DC - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will visit Coeur d’Alene students at Fernan Elementary School on Friday to present them with a new U.S. flag flown over the U.S. Capitol. As part of a Social Studies project, the students in Linda Hannon’s first grade class wrote to Crapo, requesting a new flag to replace the worn one being flown at their school. During the flag presentation, several students will read their letters to Crapo.

On Thursday, Crapo will announce a new collaborative effort to seek solutions over forest and land use issues in the Clearwater Valley. He will meet in Lewiston with representatives from conservation groups, local business, local government, motorized recreation groups, sportsmen’s groups, Tribal government, the wood products industry and Idaho residents to announce the Clearwater Collaborative effort.


Thursday, May 29th:
11:30 a.m. Lewiston Joins participants to announce the Clearwater Collaborative. At the second floor conference room, Lewiston-Nez Perce County Regional Airport, 406 Burrell Avenue, Lewiston.

Friday, May 30th:
9:00 a.m. Coeur d’Alene Presents U.S. flag flown over the Capitol. At Fernan Elementary School, 520 North 21st Street, Coeur d’Alene.
