Deadline to apply for spring semester is October 15
Washington, D.C.-The deadline is rapidly approaching for Idaho's students to apply for upcoming internship opportunities in U.S. Senator Mike Crapo's Washington, D.C., office, or one of his six regional offices throughout Idaho. Students have until October 15 to submit an application to be considered for an internship position for the spring semester.
The internship experience provides Idaho students a unique opportunity to learn about Congress and the legislative process firsthand. Interns assist the Senator and his staff with legislative research, constituent services and communications operations. Additionally, for interns serving in Washington, D.C., opportunities to attend congressional hearings and provide tours of the U.S. Capitol to visiting Idahoans and industry leaders are made available.
To learn more about internships offered through Crapo's office and access application materials, please visit the intern section of the Senator's website at https://www.crapo.senate.gov/services/interns.cfm. Due to unanticipated delays in mail delivery on Capitol Hill, students who are applying are encouraged to email, not mail, their materials to Crapo's D.C. office. Students seeking a position within Crapo's D.C. should address their applications to the attention of Katie Amacio, Internship Coordinator, and emailed to Kathleen_amacio@crapo.senate.gov. For students wishing to intern in one of Crapo's six regional offices in Idaho, applications should be addressed to the attention of Courtney Lehosit, Internship Coordinator, and emailed to Courtney_lehosit@crapo.senate.gov. Further questions can be directed to the intern coordinator in the Washington, D.C., office, 202-224-6142.
