Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) announced the hiring of two new staff members for his Washington, D.C., office.
Erika Ose, has joined the office as a Legislative Correspondent assisting with issues related to public lands, wildfires, the environment, energy, cybersecurity, transportation and infrastructure. Erika previously worked for U.S. Representative Tom Reed (R-New York). She holds a bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University. Erika also holds a master’s degree from the George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management.
Carson Tester, a native of Nampa, Idaho, joined the office as a Staff Assistant. He will assume responsibilities for arranging tours for visiting Idahoans and will serve as a first line of communication for Idahoans calling the Washington office. Prior to joining Senator Crapo’s office, Carson interned in the office of U.S. Representative Russ Fulcher (R-Idaho) as well as for the Office of Idaho Governor Brad Little. He has interests in transportation and infrastructure policy. Carson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business economics and a minor in political science from the University of Idaho.
