Specialist Harley D. Andrews dies in Iraq

Washington, DC â?? Idaho Senator Mike Crapo expressed his condolences today to the family and friends of Specialist Harley D. Andrews, who died when an improvised explosive device detonated near his military vehicle in Ar Ramadi, Iraq. Specialist Andrews, whose father lives in Boise, was originally stationed in Germany with the 130th Engineer Brigade, 54th Engineer Battalion. He died on September 11th.â??My heartfelt sympathy is with Specialist Andrewâ??s father in Idaho and with his family and friends during this time of loss,â?? Crapo said. â??I know words offer little comfort, but I do hope his father and family members know a grateful nation appreciates his service to our country and will long remember his ultimate sacrifice on behalf of the American and Iraqi people.â?? # # #
