CRAPO HONORS SHOSHONE-BANNOCK TRIBES WITH STATEMENT IN THE CONGRESSIONAL RECORD

Washington, DC - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will honor members of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes and their late Tribal elder Walter Nevada on Monday during an event on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation at Fort Hall.

Crapo honored Nevada and the Tribes with a statement inserted into the Congressional Record. Nevada was the oldest living Shoshone-Bannock Tribal elder and remaining original allottee on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation when he died on April 17th of this year.

Monday's ceremony is meant to honor Walter Nevada's contributions and Tribal heritage. It will be held inside the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes Council Chambers on Pima Drive, Fort Hall.


Monday, August 6th:
1:00 p.m. Fort Hall Presents Congressional Record Statement honoring Tribal elder Walter Nevada and the heritage of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. Meets with Fort Hall Tribal Council leadership and family members of Walter Nevada.
