Washington, D.C. -- Two interns have joined U.S. Senator Mike Crapo’s (R-Idaho) Washington, D.C., office for the summer term.
“It is undoubtedly a challenging and unprecedented time in Washington, D.C.,” said Senator Crapo. “The interns who have joined my office this summer have already risen to the challenge of navigating a new working environment complete with social distancing and enhanced sanitation. They have conducted their work with optimism and have demonstrated resiliency in the face of the current pandemic. I look forward to the rest of their service in my office.”
Two new interns joined the Washington, D.C., office:
Kathleen Christensen, a native of Boise, received her bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and her master’s degree from Arizona State University. Her policy interests include foreign affairs, armed services and agriculture.
Haley Malstrom, a current student at Brigham Young University, is pursuing a degree in public health. Her policy interests include health care and the environment.
Crapo hosts interns in his D.C. office as well in the various regional offices throughout Idaho.
