U.S. National Debt:

Crapo Joins Risch, Colleagues to Press Biden-Harris Administration on Destruction of U.S. Immigration Policies

Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) joined Jim Risch (R-Idaho) and several Senate colleagues in sending a letter calling out President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for fueling a national security crisis at the southern border through a series of destructive executive orders.

“Instead of addressing the flow of illegal immigration and illicit drugs across our borders, your administration has turned its back on those who wish to immigrate here legally and welcomed illegal aliens with open arms.  Instead of directing resources to securing our borders and processing legal immigrant applications, your administration has crippled our immigration enforcement capabilities and prioritized amnesty applications,” wrote the Senators.  “The administration has one job—to enforce the law of the land. Instead of detaining and deporting illegal aliens, your administration has shown a blatant disregard for the rule of law and national security.”

Crapo and Risch were joined by U.S. Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas), Kevin Cramer (R-North Dakota), Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Steve Daines (R-Montana), John Hoeven (R-North Dakota), James Lankford (R-Oklahoma), Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), Markwayne Mullin (R-Oklahoma) and Tim Scott (R-South Carolina) in demanding the Biden-Harris Administration answer for its direct role in eroding the U.S. immigration system and compromising the safety of American families.
