Senator also donates books to shelters, centers Saturday
Washington, DC - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will be in Twin Falls tomorrow to hold the second of three forums he is hosting on agricultural trade around Idaho. Crapo is a member of the Senate Agriculture Committee and also on the Senate Banking Committeeâ??s subcommittee on international trade issues. Tomorrowâ??s forum begins at 2:00 p.m. at the College of Southern Idahoâ??s Taylor Building.His first trade forum was on February 14th in Lewiston. The Deputy Administrator for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Foreign Agricultural Service, Patricia Sheikh, will join Crapo during the final meeting in Boise, on March 17th from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Boise City Hall. Crapo is also the Honorary Chairman for the Twin Falls Red Cross Ball on Saturday night at the Twin Falls Ballroom. The gala raises money to provide services through the American Red Cross and the local Armed Forces Emergency Services. Given the possible mobilization of troops from Idaho, as well as those currently serving, it is likely these services will be needed. Earlier in the day, Crapo will also donate 130 books from the Library of Congress to the local Zonta Club Chapter.
