Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) wrapped two weeks of meetings with the first tranche of President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees.

“President Trump deserves to have a Cabinet he selects to help deliver on his conservative agenda,” said Crapo.  “I have had productive conversations with several nominees and appreciate their willingness to meet with me and share their visions for America’s future.  Each of these nominees will undergo the rigorous Senate confirmation process, and I look forward to further evaluating their qualifications so we can begin the important work before us.”

To date, Senator Crapo has met with the following individuals:

  • Scott Bessent, nominee for Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury;
  • Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nominee for Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services;

  • Jamieson Greer, nominee for U.S. Trade Representative;
  • Howard Lutnick, nominee for Secretary of the U.S. Department of Commerce; and
