Field of Heroes event honors Iraq and Afghanistan veterans
Pocatello - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will offer remarks tonight during the closing ceremonies for the Idaho Field of Heroes event in Pocatello. The Field of Heroes honors service members and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation New Dawn and Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Crapo is also attending the POW*MIA Thunder Run Tribute. Both events are at Century High School in Pocatello.
On Tuesday, Crapo will offer opening remarks at the Idaho Traumatic Brain Injury Summit at the Stephens Performing Arts Center on the Idaho State University campus. He will travel to Burley to address the Mini-Cassia Chamber of Commerce at Morey's Steakhouse, 219 E. Third North in Burley.
Crapo will join leaders of Idaho yogurt producer Chobani Tuesday afternoon for an announcement concerning the production of Greek Yogurt at Chobani's Twin Falls facility.
