Idahoans statewide can access the teleconference September 24th
Washington, DC - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo announces he will hold a statewide iTownhall meeting this coming Wednesday evening, September 24th. The technology behind the iTownhall meeting allows Idahoans to join via telephone from any location in Idaho. Participation is totally voluntary, and listeners can ask the Senator about topics regarding federal policies or legislation. Transcripts of past iTownhall meetings are available on Crapo's website.
"Many Idahoans are letting me know that they want effective and commonsense energy legislation," Crapo said. "Adopting a federal comprehensive energy policy including language on domestic production, renewable alternative fuels and conservation remains a high priority. It is my desire that Congress debate a sensible and wide-ranging energy plan before we adjourn."
The call on September 24th will begin at 7 p.m. Mountain / 6 p.m. Pacific Time. Information to sign up and participate is located on Crapo's homepage, http://crapo.senate.gov. Those who are interested need to provide a telephone number, but do not need a computer to participate.
