Will meet with Idahoans in Moscow, Genesee, Troy, Deary and Elk River
Moscow - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will meet with Idahoans at town meetings in Latah and Clearwater Counties on Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7 th. Crapo is continuing his many town meetings across Idaho, where he is discussing the federal debt, government overreach and other issues.
As a part of his visits with Idahoans throughout the state, Crapo has used presentation materials to help illustrate the growing danger of the national debt now in excess of $18 trillion. He notes that, left unchecked, the cost of interest alone in repaying the mounting debt could soon surpass federal spending on our military programs.
In the new Congress, Crapo has also introduced a bill to remove controls put on states relating to the use of federal dollars for education and sponsored another to resolve gun issues on federal lands. Crapo's north Idaho schedule includes the following events:
