Monday event involves passenger service for Eastern Idaho
Washington, DC â?? Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will join the owner of Rimrock Trailways on Monday in Idaho Falls for an announcement concerning the future of passenger bus service to Eastern Idaho cities. A number of cities and towns including Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Blackfoot, McCammon, and others are slated to lose their existing Greyhound bus service. Crapo will join with Tom Forseth of Rimrock Trailways and a number of state and local officials to make the announcement at noon in front of the Greyhound Bus Depot in Idaho Falls. Crapo is a member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee with jurisdiction over many transportation issues. Forseth is owner of Rimrock Trailways, which has operated bus service in Montana since 1972.
