U.S. National Debt:

Crapo Sets Town Hall Meetings for Southwest Idaho

Expands statewide plan for listening sessions

Boise - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo is expanding his schedule of town meetings across Idaho later this month in southwest Idaho.  The new schedule will have Crapo meeting directly with Idahoans in meetings stretching from Crouch to Wilder and across southwest Idaho's Treasure Valley region.

"My plan is to listen to Idahoans at as many town meetings and rural locations as possible when the Senate is not in session," Crapo said.  "We are beginning our schedule in the Idaho Panhandle and moving to southwest Idaho, but that schedule will expand around the state as the schedule permits.  Idahoans offer the common sense to problem-solving that is too often absent in Washington, D.C."

The first leg of the town meeting schedule begins later this week, with stops in Moyie Springs, Bonners Ferry, Laclede, Sandpoint, Priest River, Rathdrum and Hayden.  Crapo will speak with workers at the Idaho Forest Group Mill in Moyie Springs and deliver the keynote speech during the dedication of the Kootenai Tribe's new Two Rivers Hatchery.
