Crapo Statement on the Death of Former Senator Bob Dole

Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) issued the following statement on the news former Senator Bob Dole passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 98. 

“Senator Dole was a stalwart and passionate conservative leader.  As both a respected member of Congress and a veteran of the United States Army, Senator Dole embodied an unwavering commitment to public service.  I had the pleasure of working with Senator Dole to advocate for early cancer detections in Idaho, and enjoyed his friendship.  Senator Dole’s resolute devotion to the American people will surely be missed.  My prayers are with his wife, former Senator Elizabeth Dole, and the rest of his family.”
