Crapo Statement on the Death of Former Utah Senator Robert F. Bennett

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo issued this statement following news that former Utah Senator Robert F. Bennett died Wednesday:

"I am saddened to learn of the death of my former colleague, Bob Bennett.  As members of the Senate Banking Committee representing neighboring states, we had the opportunity to collaborate on issues of importance to both Utah and Idaho.  He was a dedicated public servant who worked diligently and collaboratively behind the scenes to craft and advance common sense, sound public policy.  Tonight, I send my condolences to his wife Joyce, his entire family, and those throughout Utah and the nation who had the pleasure of knowing and working with Bob."
