Crapo Statement on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Address to Congress

Washington, D.C.--U.S. Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) issued the following statement earlier today in response to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Address to Congress:

“President Zelenskyy’s plea to Congress today called on the Biden Administration to provide more lethal military aid and technology resources to help the brave Ukrainian people in their fight against Russian aggression.  He also emphasized the urgent need for air support.  The Administration should immediately answer the call of 42 Republican Senators to expedite the transfer of MiG-29 aircraft and air systems, as well as additional support capabilities, to Ukraine.  We have to do more to defend the sovereignty of a free and democratic nation.”
