Crapo To Discuss Caldwell Development,Host Digital Television Event

Attends Congressional Awards Ceremonies during state visits

Idaho Falls - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo begins a week of events in Idaho with an appearance today before the Idaho Falls City Club. He will update Congressional efforts to move forward with downtown development efforts in Caldwell on Wednesday and host an informational meeting on Thursday with federal officials relating to the upcoming transition in over-the-air television signals

Tuesday, February 19:
Noon Idaho Falls Speaks to the Idaho Falls City Club on issues before the Congress. At the University Place Student Union Building, 1776 Science Center Drive.

Wednesday, February 20:
2:45 p.m. Caldwell Joins with Congressman Bill Sali to discuss Congressional efforts to mitigate potential development problems in downtown Caldwell relating to new flood maps. The city fears the process could affect downtown development along Indian Creek. At the Indian Creek Water Wheel, 9th and Arthur.

Thursday, February 21:
10:00 a.m. Boise Hosts informational forum on the upcoming transition in over-the-air television signals from analog to digital. The changes could affect nearly one-third of Idaho television viewers. At the Ada County Courthouse Commissioner's Meeting Room, First Floor, 200 West Front Street.

Friday, February 22:
4:00 p.m. Twin Falls Participates in Congressional Awards Ceremonies honoring Idaho students. The Ceremonies will he held at O'Leary Junior High School, corner of Eastland and Elizabeth.

Saturday, February 23:
6:30 p.m Boise Receives national award for legislation and conservation efforts from Ducks Unlimited, Owyhee Plaza Hotel.
