Idahoans can join the iTownhall conference on July 15th
Washington, DC - Senator Mike Crapo will offer Idahoans an update on energy, health care and other issues being debated in Congress during a statewide teleconference next week. Crapo is inviting Idahoans to sign up for his iTownhall meeting, which will be held on the evening of Wednesday, July 15th.
The call will begin at 7:00 p.m. Mountain/6:00 p.m. Pacific. To sign up for the iTownhall meeting, please go to Crapo's website, http://crapo.senate.gov and click on the iTownhall icon. You will be directed to send an e-mail request with your contact information. To ensure participation in the July 15th call, you need to sign up before Monday, July 13th.
"Congress is debating issues critical to all Idahoans, such as deficit spending, health care reform, energy programs and climate change," said Crapo. "I want and need to hear from Idahoans, and this teleconference will give us an opportunity to continue discussions about these issues."
In order to participate in the iTownHall meeting, all you need is a telephone. To ensure that you receive a call, it is recommended that you sign up ahead of the teleconference. Participation is voluntary, and listeners are given an opportunity to ask the Senator about topics regarding federal policies or legislation.
Following the call, an audio file (MP3) of the full call will be posted on the website. A transcript will be posted at a later date.
