Senator to hold meeting at forest products mill; offer keynote speech at Kootenai Tribeâ??s fish hatchery dedication
Coeur d'Alene - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo announces he will hold a series of seven town hall meetings across the Idaho Panhandle in early October. Crapo said his goal is to hear directly from Idahoans on a wide range of federal issues that impact Idaho citizens and local communities.
Crapo noted his larger plan is to visit more Idaho towns as his travel in the state permits. He plans on a series of town hall meeting dates in southwest Idaho later in October. Those dates and locations have not yet been finalized.
Making this round of Panhandle visits more unique is that some meetings will be held in smaller communities and one in a forest products facility. Crapo will also offer the keynote speech at the dedication of the Kootenai Tribe's Twin Rivers Fish Hatchery near Moyie Springs.
"Idahoans bring common sense in resolving issues we need to address back in Washington, D.C.," Crapo said. "I encourage all Idahoans to try to attend these town hall visits as I schedule them near your community."
