Crapo Welcomes Five Interns for Spring 2024 Term

Washington, D.C.--Five interns have joined U.S. Senator Mike Crapo’s (R-Idaho) Washington, D.C., and Boise offices for the spring 2024 term.

“Each internship term brings students into my Washington, D.C., and state offices to gain real-world skills in the legislative process, communications and public service at the federal level,” Crapo said.  “With a new class of interns, it is exciting to see so many young people grow and prosper in public service as they assist the people of Idaho.”

Three interns will serve in the Washington, D.C., office:

  • Grace Lally is taking classes at Montgomery College.  She is studying international affairs and plans to pursue a career in that field.
  • Nate Evenson attends Boise State University.  He is studying political science, and is expected to graduate next spring.
  • Gabe Rodriguez will graduate from Boise State University this spring.  He is studying political science and has plans to attend law school.

Two interns will serve in the Boise office:

  • Brooke Townsend is a sophomore at Boise State University.  She is studying communications with a minor in business.
  • Natalee Alsuhili is studying political science with an emphasis in international relations at Boise State University.

Crapo hosts interns in his Washington, D.C., office as well as in the various regional offices throughout Idaho.  Students interested in positions for the spring, summer or fall semesters can find more information about the application process, internship expectations, and deadlines for applying on the Senator's official website at: https://www.crapo.senate.gov/services/for-students/internships
