Crapo Welcomes Interns for Fall 2024 Term

Washington, D.C.--Six interns have joined U.S. Senator Mike Crapo’s (R-Idaho) Washington, D.C., Boise and Idaho Falls offices for the fall 2024 term.

“These young minds are dedicated to their academic endeavors and seek a Senate internship to fulfill their desires to make an impactful difference,” said Crapo.  “Through their internships, interns develop the ability to serve constituents, expand their knowledge in policymaking and foster real-world job skills.”

Three interns will serve in the Washington, D.C., office:

  • Christian Horchler attends Brigham Young University--Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho.  He is pursuing a degree in political science with an emphasis on foreign affairs. 
  • Bradley Stanton is a southeast Idaho native and attends Brigham Young University--Idaho.  He is studying public policy and administration.
  • Brandon Yapias is completing a degree at Brigham Young University--Idaho.  Brandon is majoring in business finance with a minor in business analytics.

Two interns will serve in the Boise office:

  • Kennedy Cummins is a Murtaugh, Idaho, native and a junior at Boise State University.  She is studying political science with a minor in urban studies.
  • Tanner McClain is from Middleton, Idaho, and a 2024 University of Idaho graduate.  He received his degree in political science.

One intern will serve in the Idaho Falls office:

  • Justin Stewart attends Brigham Young University--Idaho.  Justin is pursuing a degree in public policy.

Crapo hosts interns in his Washington, D.C., office as well as in the various regional offices throughout Idaho.  The application for the spring 2025 term closes on October 15.  Students interested in positions for the spring, summer or fall semesters can find more information about the application process, internship expectations, and deadlines for applying on the Senator's official website at: https://www.crapo.senate.gov/services/for-students/internships
